Tom Bradford, DVM

Tom Bradford graduated from Texas A&M University with bachelor’s degrees in Animal Science and Biomedical Science and later with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After spending time in general practice with horses and small animals he went on to manage an emergency clinic in San Antonio for three years. He made the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area his home in 1982 and has owned Advanced Animal Care Centre since 1990. He designed the current clinic with his daughter Tracy. They were honored to receive the Design Award from the publication Veterinary Economics in 1999 and the Practice Excellence award in 2000. Dr. Bradford has been married for twenty-five years to his wife Ther’e and is the proud father of 4 children. He loves mentoring his staff and providing opportunities for their growth!

Austin Neely, DVM

Austin joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team at the end of May, after graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2007. He also attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate Biomedical Science degree, which he completed after being accepted to veterinary school in 2005. Being an Air Force brat growing up, Austin was unable to have a lot of animals. So when his father changed jobs and they were able to stay in one place for a while, the first words out of his mouth were “NOW can I have a dog?” This was the beginning of his dream to become a vet. He is originally from the DFW area and after graduation decided to settle here with his wife Shawna and their new precious daughter, Ashlynn. Dr. Neely has a 2 year old lab mix, named, Chloe and an 11 year old Lhasa Poo, named Tiki. Outside of work Dr. Neely enjoys running, fishing and spending time with his family.

Susan Becker, DVM

Susan Becker joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team in July of 2010.  She grew up on a farm in Kansas, and later graduated from Kansas State University. Susan has worked in veterinary hospitals in Arizona and Tennessee, as well as here in the Metroplex in both large and small animal practices on a variety of different animals, with an emphasis in emergency medicine. Susan is married, with two daughters, and is expecting a baby boy in October. They have three horses, two goats, two dogs and one cat. She and her family recently moved back to the Metroplex to be closer to family. In her spare time she enjoys being a mom and spending time with all of her family and pets.

P.J., Office Manager

P.J. joined Advanced Animal Care Centre in October of 2006 due to her love of animals and interest in professional animal care. We really appreciate the skills that she has brought from her previous life working in the human resources arena of the corporate world. She loves her home life with her husband, daughter and her three other kids, Remy, a Labrador, Kylie, a Boxer mix and Baylee, a Black Mouth Cur.

Carrie, Operations and Marketing Manager

Carrie joined our team in January of 2008. A graphic designer for 11 years, Carrie was looking for a way to spend of her time helping animals, and discovered a great opportunity working with Advanced Animal Care Centre. A California native, she moved to Texas with her husband in 2005. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, a pit bull named Gemma. Her hobbies are hiking, photography, reading and cooking.

Meg, Patient Care Supervisor, Veterinary Nurse

Holly, Veterinary Nurse

Holly joined our team in April of 2009. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a Biomedical Science degree. From there she moved to Austin where she worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet tech for 2 years. After that Holly decided to move back up to the metroplex to be closer to family. Holly enjoys working with a larger staff, and being able to learn from each one of them. When she is not working or spending time with family, she enjoys taking her border collie, Bear, to the dog park for some good excerise!

Laura, Veterinary Nurse

Laura joined our team in October of 2009 after moving back to the DFW area from Austin. She comes from a strong customer service background, but loves animals and has always wanted to work with them. She has two female cats, Emma and Mickey. Laura is a vegetarian and her interests outside of work include music, reading, photography, film, going to the park and swimming.

Mindy, Veterinary Nurse, Registered Veterinary Technician

Mindy joined our team in September of 2010 after moving to the DFW area from Houston. She received her RVT through Tomball College in May of 2010, and passed her state and national boards in December of 2010. Mindy has two dogs, Ringo, a golden retriever, and Sophie, a german shepherd mix. In her spare time, Mindy enjoys spending time with friends, going to the dogpark and outdoor sports.

Amanda, Veterinary Nurse

Amanda joined our team in January of 2011. Born and raised in the DFW area, she completed her degree in Animal Science at Tarleton University in 2009. Amanda would like to someday work as a nurse manager at an equine emergency hospital. She has three pets - a shepherd mix named Aleutian, a Blue Heeler mix named Apache and a horse named Twinkle. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, camping, and many other outdoor activities.

Lauren, Veterinary Nurse

Lauren joined our team in July of 2011. She has been working with animals all her life, beginning with the Future Farmers of America, where she was VP and Treasurer of her local chapter. Lauren has also worked for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She has three pets - a cat named Spartacus, and two dogs - Rio, a german shorthaired pointer, and Annie, a chocolate lab. Lauren is currently attending school and aspires to be an equine vet.

Brianne, Client Care Specialist Supervisor

Brianne joined our team in September of 2007. She is a born and raised Texan and wouldn’t have it any other way. Brianne has two pets - Wylie, her pit bull and Juno, her blue heeler mix. Brianne is very excited about having this opportunity to learn more and educate others about the health care of their pets. In her free time she enjoys playing outdoor sports and spending time with her family and friends.

Niki, Client Care Specialist

Niki joined our team in March of 2010. After many years in the customer service industry, she decided to come work for AACC so that she could spend more time with animals. Her dream is to someday open a shelter that would pair homeless people with abandoned pets, and help them start the next chapter of their lives together. Niki enjoys spending time with her two children ages two and six, and her 10 year old pit bull, Hercules. When she has some free time, Niki likes photography and scrapbooking, and for an extra challenge, taking her kids to the grocery store!

Christian, Client Care Specialist

Christian joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team in April of 2011. She has spent years working with horses, most recently as a riding instructor. She loves all animals, and enjoys being around them on a daily basis. Christian owns two dogs, Scout and Tucker, a cat named Fancy, and two horses, Rocky and Flirt. Her dream is to have a ranch that pairs horses with disabled children.

Katie, Client Care Specialist

Katie joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team in June of 2011. She been working in the veterinary medicine industry for seven years. She is currently in school to become a nurse. Katie owns two dogs, Mr. Bear, a jack russell terrior, and Copper, a dachshund. In her spare time, Katie enjoys reading, watching movies and sports, and spending time with friends.

Catherine, Pet Care Specialist

Catherine joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team in January of 2009. She is currently attending the Texas Wesleyan University. She has been around all types of animals and loves them all. Catherine also plays on a Women's semipro practice soccer team and is hoping to work her way up to the pro level. Her hobbies are art, and spending time with her animals - dogs Poohbear, Bubby Isla, and Lilly, and cat Grimlen.

Megan, Pet Care Specialist

Megan has been a member of our team since July of 2009, but has been in the pet care industry since 2007. She is able to put her passion for animals to good use with all of our pets in boarding! Megan has one cat at home, Jinx. In her spare time she likes to go rock climbing and play sports.

Erin, Pet Care Specialist

Erin joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre Team in July of 2011. A recent high school graduate, Erin has always wanted to work with animals and hopes to be a veterinarian. She has two dogs, Teddy and Bullet, and two cats, Fritz and Pikachu. Erin has played soccer for 12 years and currently plays with an indoor league.
