Tom Bradford, DVM

Tom Bradford graduated from Texas A&M University with bachelor’s degrees in Animal Science and Biomedical Science and later with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After spending time in general practice with horses and small animals he went on to manage an emergency clinic in San Antonio for three years. He made the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area his home in 1982 and has owned Advanced Animal Care Centre since 1990. He designed the current clinic with his daughter Tracy. They were honored to receive the Design Award from the publication Veterinary Economics in 1999 and the Practice Excellence award in 2000. Dr. Bradford has been married for twenty-five years to his wife Ther’e and is the proud father of 4 children. He loves mentoring his staff and providing opportunities for their growth!

Austin Neely, DVM

Austin joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team at the end of May, after graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2007. He also attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate Biomedical Science degree, which he completed after being accepted to veterinary school in 2005. Being an Air Force brat growing up, Austin was unable to have a lot of animals. So when his father changed jobs and they were able to stay in one place for a while, the first words out of his mouth were “NOW can I have a dog?” This was the beginning of his dream to become a vet. He is originally from the DFW area and after graduation decided to settle here with his wife Shawna and their new precious daughter, Ashlynn. Dr. Neely has a 2 year old lab mix, named, Chloe and an 11 year old Lhasa Poo, named Tiki. Outside of work Dr. Neely enjoys running, fishing and spending time with his family.

Susan Becker, DVM

Susan Becker joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team in July of 2010.  She grew up on a farm in Kansas, and later graduated from Kansas State University. Susan has worked in veterinary hospitals in Arizona and Tennessee, as well as here in the Metroplex. After growing up on a farm in Kansas, and then becoming a DVM, she worked at both large and small animal practices on a variety of different animals, with an emphasis in emergency medicine. Susan is married, with two daughters, and is expecting a baby boy in October. They have three horses, two goats, two dogs and one cat. She and her family recently moved back to the Metroplex to be closer to family. In her spare time she enjoys being a mom and spending time with all of her family and pets.

P.J., Office Manager

P.J. joined Advanced Animal Care Centre in October of 2006 due to her love of animals and interest in professional animal care. We really appreciate the skills that she has brought from her previous life working in the human resources arena of the corporate world. She loves her home life with her husband, teenage daughter and her two other kids, Remy, a Labrador, and Kylie, a Boxer mix.

Melissa, Nurse Supervisor

Melissa joined Advanced Animal Care Centre in September of 2008. She graduated from Tarleton State University with a BS in Animal Science and has also studied Animal Behavior at A&M. Melissa has been working as a Veterinary Nurse since 2005. She has a big heart for the Pit Bull breed and works hard to find happy healthy homes for any unwanted dogs. She enjoys spending time with her friends, and her cat Babz. Bowling is a passion and Melissa enjoys competing in tournaments all over the US. She loves being a Veterinary Nurse because she gets to learn something new every day and loves to educate clients on animal care.

Laurin, Veterinary Nurse

Laurin has been working as a nurse since 2002 and she joined our team in December 2005. Her areas of interest are surgery and radiology. Laurin came to Advanced Animal Care Centre because of the high quality of care that each and every pet receives. She loves being able to give every single patient the attention and quality of care they deserve. Laurin is dedicated to making sure every pet owner is worry free and reassured about their pet's care. She lives in Beford with her wonderful pets - Zoe a Boston Terrier and Dylan her cat that thinks he is a dog. She has lived in the DFW area just about her whole life. She and her animals love fostering other animals. Laurin and Zoe love camping and going to the lake.

Meg, Patient Care Supervisor, Veterinary Nurse

Meg joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team in January of 2008 after wrapping up a six-year career in the recruiting industry. A life-long lover of all animals, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to care for your pets under the direction of the exceedingly kind, passionate and knowledgeable doctors and staff of AACC. Meg is currently completing a bachelor of science degree in biology at TCC/UTA, and anticipates attending vet school thereafter. While school and work demand much of her time and attention, she derives great satisfaction from spending every moment possible with the menagerie of furry friends she calls family: dogs Hanah, Callie & Maddie, cats Gamgee, & Zarine and horse Tess.

Holly, Veterinary Nurse

Holly joined our team in April of 2009. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a Biomedical Science degree. From there she moved to Austin where she worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet tech for 2 years. After that Holly decided to move back up to the metroplex to be closer to family. Holly enjoys working with a larger staff, and being able to learn from each one of them. When she is not working or spending time with family, she enjoys taking her border collie, Bear, to the dog park for some good excerise!

Laura, Veterinary Nurse

Laura joined our team in October of 2009 after moving back to the DFW area from Austin. She comes from a strong customer service background, but loves animals and has always wanted to work with them. She has two female cats, Emma and Mickey. Laura is a vegetarian and her interests outside of work include music, reading, photography, film, going to the park and swimming.

Suzie, Veterinary Nurse

Suzie has been a practicing veterinary nurse since 1993. She originally worked at Advanced Animal Care Centre from 1999-2004 when she left to pursue school and a family life. She returned in 2010 because of the quality of care given to employees and pets. Her skills have taken her from day practices to emergency clinics throughout the Metroplex. She truly enjoys the amount of training nurses receive and the amount of camaraderie with the clients and their pets. In her spare time she enjoys scuba diving, photography and reading. Her family now includes PD, a min-pin and dachshund mix, Deuce, a chihuahua and dachshund mix, and a cocker spaniel, Gussie. Most of all she's just happy to be back!

Danielle, Client Care Specialist Supervisor

Danielle joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team as a Kennel Technician, back in May of 2007. Danielle quickly impressed us and she was promoted to Client Care Specialist in July. She comes to us with a great deal of customer service experience and loves interacting with the clients and pets. We all enjoy Danielle’s fun-loving spirit and the contribution she makes every day to the AACC team. Next spring, Danielle will be attending Tarrant County Community college part-time and lucky for us will continue to work here at AACC. She is a Texas native and has remained in the DFW area. Danielle has two husky mixes, named Sapphire and Red (which she shares with her sister). Outside of work, Danielle loves to partake in the local music scene, loves to cook and secretly wants to be “Top Chef”.

Brianne, Client Care Specialist

Brianne joined our team in September of 2007. She is a born and raised Texan and wouldn’t have it any other way. She shares custody of her three four-legged friends, Einstein, BeeGee, and Runt with her family and she is obviously and animal lover like the rest of us. Brianne is very excited about having this opportunity to learn more and educate others about the health care of their pets. In her free time she enjoys playing out door sports, going to Texas country concerts, and spending time with her friends.

Brittany, Client Care Specialist

Brittany joined our team in September of 2008, and is enjoying seeing the sweet and furry animals that come into our clinic. She came into this profession with the desire to learn and help our furry friends. As a Texas native, Brittany owns an adorable bassett hound named Lacey and co-owns a spunky little cocker spaniel. In her free time, she enjoys playing outdoor sports, watching movies and spending time with friends.

Mary, Client Care Specialist

Mary joined our team in July of 2009 with the aim of learning more about animal care in order to help provide optimal care for our four-legged friends, as well as our clients. She comes from an extensive background of customer service, and is thrilled she can not only help people, but animals too! In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her family, including her wonderful son, Liam.

Niki, Client Care Specialist

Niki joined our team in March of 2010. After many years in the customer service industry, she decided to come work for AACC so that she could spend more time with animals. Her dream is to someday open a shelter that would pair homeless people with abandoned pets, and help them start the next chapter of their lives together. Niki enjoys spending time with her two children ages two and six, and her 10 year old pit bull, Hercules. When she has some free time, Niki likes photography and scrapbooking, and for an extra challenge, taking her kids to the grocery store!

Carrie, Marketing Director

Carrie joined our team in January of 2008. A graphic designer for 11 years, Carrie was looking for a way to spend of her time helping animals, and discovered a great opportunity working with Advanced Animal Care Centre. A California native, she moved to Texas with her husband in 2005. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, a pit bull named Gracie. Her hobbies are hiking, photography, reading and cooking.

Catherine, Pet Care Specialist

Catherine joined the Advanced Animal Care Centre team in January of 2009. She is currently attending the Texas Wesleyan University. She has been around all types of animals and loves them all. Catherine also plays on a Women's semipro practice soccer team and is hoping to work her way up to the pro level. Her hobbies are art, and spending time with her animals - dogs Poohbear, Bubby and Isla, and cat Grimlen.

Megan, Pet Care Specialist

Megan has been a member of our team since July of 2009, but has been in the pet care industry since 2007. She is able to put her passion for animals to good use with all of our pets in boarding! Megan has one cat at home, Jinx. In her spare time she likes to go rock climbing and play sports.
